Macramé Floor Lamp Shade — Start-to-Finish Workshop

Instructor: Tamara · Skill level: Beginner-friendly

About Course

This free class is a complete, start-to-finish macramé project led by Tamara. You’ll see the full workflow of making a decorative floor lamp shade: choosing tools and materials, measuring and cutting cords (24 cords, 7 meters each), attaching them to the top ring, and building the pattern with square knots. Tamara also demonstrates how to keep your spacing consistent, how to secure the cords to the bottom ring (finishing, trimming, and fixing the ends), and how to wrap the vertical supports for a clean look. Finally, the lamp is assembled with the cord set, socket, and bulb so you can see the finished result in use.
