The Story Behind the Hanging Chair
Creating the hanging chair turned into a real project for me — one that required a great deal of time, patience, and effort. Throughout the process I encountered several challenges, but overcoming them ultimately made the final result even more meaningful and rewarding.
Choosing Durable and Practical Materials
The next step was finding the right ropes. Although this challenge was somewhat easier, it still required careful consideration. Eventually, I chose the best possible solution — reinforced braided synthetic ropes.
These ropes are highly durable, resistant to wear over time, and very easy to clean, which makes them ideal for furniture that is both decorative and functional.
A Long and Detailed Crafting Process
The weaving process itself turned out to be quite labor-intensive. Completing the chair required approximately 90 hours of work and nearly 1,400 meters of strong synthetic rope.
Every detail demanded patience and attention, as the quality of the weaving affects not only the appearance but also the strength and reliability of the chair.
A Result Worth the Effort
Despite all the challenges, the final result fully justified the effort. The hanging nest chair turned out to be not only comfortable and functional but also visually elegant.
It has already received many positive reviews, and for me it has become a true source of pride — a creation that reflects persistence, creativity, and a genuine desire to craft something both beautiful and practical.
